August Mack
Senior Account Manager
 

August Mack has been employed with Transtector, part of the Protection Technology Group for 27 years. August has a vast amount of experience in providing the best end-to-end power quality solutions to assure the reliability of critical electronics for the Railway, Utilities, Oil & Gas and Transportation industries.
 
August Mack has designed programs as a resource to engineering firms in rewriting their specifications to meet industry standards for AREMA, IEEE, UL and NEC. His clients include LTK, Hatch Mott MacDonald, Black & Veatch, Camp Dresser & McKee and Parsons Brinkerhoff.
 
For the past 6 years, August Mack has been a senior account manager focused on providing critical electronics protection solutions for the rail industry. Working closely with Class 1’s and OEM’s he has been able to provide kitting solutions developed specifically for Positive Train control (PTC).

Jason Mies
Senior Account Manager 

Jason Mies, Senior Account Manager for the Protection Technology Group holds a masters degree in business management as well as several electrical certifications. Jason works directly with engineering firms such as HNTB, LTK, Gannett and Fleming & Parsons to keep surge protection specifications updated to current standards and is an expert on Positive Train Control (PTC). 

Jason has been an asset to the Protection Technology Group for the past eight years and works directly with Class 1 rail road clients including CSX, Norfolk Southern, and UP to provide surge protection consulting and solutions in selecting the appropriate protection proper installation and industry standards (AREMA, IEEE, UL, NEC) to keep rail roads operating to their maximum capabilities. 
 
In additional to providing surge protection solutions domestically, Jason provides railways signal and communication system insight internationally in the Middle East, China, UK and Brazil.
