Transtector Systems, part of the Protection Technology Group is pleased to announce the expansion of the TSJ X6 series. The high-speed, high-current, solid state data line surge protectors are specifically designed to shield multiple lines (up to six) including T1/E1, 10/100 BT and GbE applications. The vast success of this series propelled the development of the new gigabit Ethernet protector – TSJ-X6 GbE.
The new gigabit Ethernet protector utilizes Transtector’s advanced transient blocking unit technology to reliably protect today’s sensitive, high speed data communications equipment. This robust protector adds almost no capacitance (<3pF) to lines, yet offers continuous bi-polar, bi-directional defense against transient overvoltages.
“Interchangeable modules make the TSJ X6 series easily configurable by customers to hold any combination of T1/E1, 10/100BT and GbE modules” notes Bob Garner, (Application Engineering Manager). “This feature also allows it to be a great upgrade solution from the traditional T1/E1 lines to faster Ethernet or GigE lines.”
